Dress in two ways & my new favorite food cart

dress - Yesstyle, shirt - Target, socks - Topshop, boots - TJ Maxx, purse - Buenos Aires flea market
While I don't like to spend time in casinos, I do occasionally like to gamble when buying clothes. Sometimes it's thrifting (well most of the time) and every once in awhile I like to visit yesstyle.com. Yesstyle is an online-only clothing store based out of Hong Kong. They have some really cute clothes, but they're mostly in small or smaller, terrible photos, no description and sizes are all in centimeters. It's a gamble! I won't buy jeans from the site, but I'll take a risk with an elastic waistband or a baggy cardigan.
There were quite a few choices for floral print dresses but I went for this one because of the collar. In the photo above, I wanted to show the dress in its entirety so I put a long-sleeve black shirt underneath. In the photo below I wore a light-weight sweater over it so you can still see the collar.
shirt - H&M, bag - store in Japan, shoes - thrifted
By the way, the darling airstream trailer behind me is my new favorite Portland food cart, Carte Blanche on 32nd & Hawthorne. I was a little suspicious at first because they have so many ingredients in each dish, but all the flavors blend nicely. I got the crispy tilapia tacos with a side of beans, rice and corn/mango/avocado salad (ate it before I was able to take a photo of it). They also had mango/mint water for their customers.
Carte Blanche is freaking adorable. Vintage sewing machines as tarp anchor weights, sweet girls working and wearing cute vintage aprons, mismatched bowls and AND they offer picnics. You go online and place your order, then go to the cart, give them a $15 deposit, and they'll give you your meal in a picnic basket. I thought this would be a good idea for Brandon and my anniversary but we may have to do it sooner. I'm so excited for summer in my neighborhood!
